The exhibits of the Bundestag collection are on display at various venues of the parliament building. Eventually this presentation can lead to risks for the artworks, which often stay unrecognized in everyday business. Thanks to the risk analysis run by Co.Co Heritage potential hazards were identified. The analysis also raises awareness of collection management and offers practical solutions for long-term control measurements.

Preventive conservation has become more and more important for the preservation of cultural heritage. Hence, museums are in constant need for further education. Dr. Alexandra Jeberien has repeatedly offered and performed in-house education on preventive conservation for staff and trainees at the Museum für Hamburgische Geschichte. Her lectures have always presented the highest state of research, and were accompanied with numerous and very illustrative examples, study cases and hands-on exercises.
— Silke Beiner-Büth, Painting Conservator at Museum für Hamburgische Geschichte
Dr. Alexandra Jeberien has provided trainings in preventive conservation for staff of the Museum für Naturkunde in Berlin on several instances. Especially the multiple and ongoing joint trainings on “disaster preparedness” have led to the implementation of a local working group within the museum’s science programme “Collection Development and Biodiversity Discovery”. This fruitful co-operation is geared towards collections’ staff and Dr. Jeberien succeeds in combining her expert knowledge with the museum setting and thus provides an intensive and hands-on experience that we gladly recommend.
